€30M commitment from EU over the next 5 years

Figures released show demand for loans continues to grow with application volumes up 10% in 2017. This is a record year for the Government funded not-for-profit lender and this investment will undoubtedly help support the Irish business sector.

In addition, the European Investment Fund has signed a second agreement to enable Microfinance Ireland provide an additional €30m in loans to micro-enterprises over the next five years.

This €30 commitment from the EU will allow Microfinance Ireland to continue supporting Irish start-ups and established businesses.
